As the face of scuba diving in the UK changes, from the sad loss of numerous and once thriving retail businesses, to the limitation of products and product availability, we’ve had to adapt and evolve to meet this concerning shift.
Most worrying for our industry is the drop in participant numbers, from those either hanging up their fins once and for all, to losing interest and or simply deciding scuba has just become 'too expensive’. Consequently, the knock-on effect of this for all of us becomes the unaffordability of pools, further attributed to soaring energy costs.
In all honesty, with a strong member and customer base, SEPE Diving have been exceptionally lucky with this. but following months of enquiries, site inspections and negotiations, we’ve decided we would love nothing more than to add Ashville College, Harrogate to our pool portfolio, utilising their fantastic facilities to allow us to continue offering exceptional value to our customers.
